Introduction
Needless to say, childhood is the precious time for everyone. I have made a lot of happy memories when I was a child. Today, I am going to talk about the happiest memory of childhood.
What that happy memory is?
Actually, when I was 7 years old my cousins visited our home on the day of Basant panchmi. I invited my friends as well to make the day special. As a matter of fact, basant panchmi is a festival which is celebrated on the first day of spring season. In Punjab, it is also called festival of kites.
Who did what and why?
At first, we all went to the market with my father in order to buy kites and sweets. Then we went to our farm and started flying kites. I remember, the weather was pleasant that day. We were enjoying a lot. After some time, my mother brought food for us. She prepared different kind of food items like mixed vegetables, kesari chawal and other mouth-watering dishes. Food was very delicious. After flying kites, we all played other games in our farm.
Why do you remember it so fondly?
I still remember that day because time which I spent with my cousins and friends were incredible. I really miss that time but unfortunately it can never come back. So, that was the happiest childhood memory which I made.

Introduction
Well, remembering happy moments always brings happiness on people’s faces. Although I have a vast collection of memories in my head, some of them are sweet, while others are sad. But here I would like to talk about a pleasurable memory from my childhood that is unforgettable.
What that happy memory is?
It is a matter of that time when I was 8 years old. My school hosted an interschool dance competition. The theme of the dance was traditional. Our dance teacher formed a team of five students to perform this dance, but I was the weak one among them as I didn’t know the basics of traditional dance.
Who did what and why?
I didn’t want my team to be disappointed just because of me. Then I told the whole situation to my grandmother. She assured me that she would assist me in this as she was the winner of traditional dance in her college days. I was astonished to find out and excited to learn.
Why do you remember it so fondly?
After 7 days, I reached the level of my teammates. My dance teacher praised me a lot. On competition day, we gave our best and won the first prize. It was a joyful experience for me because of mainly two reasons. The first one is that it was my first win, which made my parents proud of me. The other is that this competition brought me closer to my grandmother. Finally, this was the most valuable memory I have from my golden years.

To be honest, I enjoyed my childhood a lot and I have numerous childhood memories. Here, I would like to talk about a happy memory of my childhood which is unforgettable. It is about visiting Shimla with my family.
I vividly remember, once I saw my friend’s photo about enjoying snow in Shimla and I also wanted to enjoy it. As I come from Punjab state and there is no snowfall here. Hence, I convinced my parents to go to Shimla so that I can enjoy snow. Finally, my parents, my younger brother, and I went to Shimla during winter days.
After reaching there, I was amazed to see the snow. In addition, it was my first experience. My parents wanted to do some rest; however, my brother and I began playing with snow. We made snowballs and threw balls at each other. Moreover, I also made snowmen and clicked photos in my father’s mobile phone.
Even now I have kept those photos in my phone. Whenever I see these photos, it reminds me of that trip. Apart from this, we enjoyed delicious food over there. That 4-day trip was really amazing. All in all, this is a happy memory of my childhood which I cannot forget.
