Being an extrovert, I love meeting new people and enjoy making conversation with them. Today, I am going to talk about a person with whom I met at my cousin’s wedding. It happened two months ago.
Actually, my cousin lives in Canada. He came India for his marriage and he invited his foreigner friends as well. One of them, with whom I met was jack. When my cousin introduced me to him, he met me with huge smile. After that, we started our conversation regarding cultures of our countries. At first, I asked about Canadian culture.

He told me a lot and one interesting thing which I came to know about that Thanksgiving day. It is celebrated in Canada on the second Monday of October. The motive behind celebrating this day is to give thanks after past harvest season. He also told me that people organize parties on this day and enjoy with their kith and kin.
Then I told him about how traditional festivals like Diwali, Dussehera, Lohri are celebrated by Indian people. Moreover, being a sports fan, I asked him about his favorite game. I came to know that he is passionate about ice hockey which is a national game of Canada. I was really enjoying with him while talking.
In fact, I also shared my experience of a cricket match which I watched live in the stadium between India and Australia. I felt elated after meeting him and also he talked in a politely way. We became good friends and shared each other’s contact number. So, that was a time when I met a person and made an interesting conversation.

It would be unfair not to mention the fact that talking to new people is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Here, I am going to share my experience when I had an interesting conversation with someone.
It was my cousin’s birthday, they invited a large group of people, and the event was planned in the city’s most well-known hotel. I noticed someone recording numerous films while we were celebrating the birthday party. Additionally, he stood out from the crowd by dressing in a formal suit. I figured out that he was posting it on social media.
I made the decision to inquire about his social media pages so I could see his videos. He began showing me his YouTube videos when I questioned him about his social media accounts. I must point out that he was speaking in a very respectful manner. He receives a lot of love and support from the public and uploads one video each day.
Then, I also intended to create a YouTube channel, I inquired about his experience on the platform. He informed me that anyone can start a YouTube channel for no cost, and users love to share knowledge there. He also mentioned that YouTube is one of the most popular platforms for showing your skill. Starting a new YouTube channel is not easy as pie because of the cut throat competition.
However, he explained me how to grow on YouTube without facing difficulties. Interestingly, I got to introduce myself to his subscriber in his new vlog. When I saw myself on the videos, I was extremely happy. Last but not least, I’d say it was one of the most interesting conversations I’ve ever had, and I gained a lot of knowledge.

His grandmother stays in the US and was visiting my friend especially for his birthday. I met her for the first time and feel so happy and excited about meeting her. Her personality was not only very interesting but also mesmerizing. We discussed many topics in a short time but the most important topic of discussion was her fitness.
At the age of 86 her skin glowed like 20 years and her eyes sparkled like a kid. She was so active and energetic that she danced excellently on all the beats. All were very impressed with her. That is why I found her very interesting. She told me about her diet and exercise regime and what other things she does to keep herself fit.

I felt motivated to be like her after meeting her. She taught me new mantras of living life healthy and happy which are worth implementing. It was delightful and gladdening to meet and spend quality time with her. She was completely opposite of how some old people of her age are. She was so much active and energetic. I have resolved to bring changes in my diet, lifestyle and attitude towards life only after meeting her.
Old people are like gold they are an asset to the society and we should value them and respect them. Important things need to be learnt from their experience. I feel sad when old people are neglected and insulted. They need to be taken care of. They need to be handled with tender loving care. Those people who have grandparents are blessed and lucky. Their childhood is much different and precious than others who do not get the love of grandparents.
