Sample Answer 1
Well, I rarely give my advice because I think it is a kind of interference in someone’s life. However, today I am going to talk about a time when my cousin asked for my advice. It was about selecting the stream for his further studies.
After completing his matriculation, he was confused to opt(choose) the stream between arts and commerce. He wanted to ask from someone who completed his studies recently, so that he reached out to me. Actually, I also did my senior secondary in arts last year. So, I advised him for arts because it offers plenty of opportunities in the working sector.
In addition, studying in arts also gives an option to do further studies in various courses, however, commerce has only an accounts option. Moreover, I also helped him to choose subjects in the arts. Our discussion went on for approximately 1 hour. I also gave him examples of famous and successful businessmen who had also done their studies in arts.
At last, he followed my advice and took his 11th class admission in arts stream. All in all, I felt on cloud nine because he considered me deemed worthy to choose stream for his further education. Now he is settled in abroad and always thanks me for helping him to make right choice. So that was a time when I gave advice to my cousin.

Sample Answer 2
It is common in my country to seek and offer advice. I often communicate with my parents and friends for guidance and also provide advice to my loved ones. I would like to share some helpful advice that I gave to my brother. After successfully completing his senior secondary education in the commerce stream, he was on the lookout for suitable courses and colleges to pursue his graduation. However, he was quite confused about which course and college would be beneficial for him to build his career.
Despite searching extensively and discussing with our parents, he was still uncertain about what to choose. I suggested that he should go to Canada for his higher education. Although I was initially concerned for him, I later realized that studying abroad could be very beneficial for him, as the quality of education in developed nations is generally higher than in India. I suggested that he ought to pursue his education abroad because I am concerned about his future.
He is very intelligent and can excel in his field of interest with better education opportunities in other countries. India is an underdeveloped country where it is difficult for everyone to find a job. Despite being a graduate, I am currently unemployed. Therefore, I want him to have the opportunity to pursue a successful career and achieve his goals. I love him very much and want to see him succeed.
He and my parents agreed with me and he started preparation to clear the IELTS exam, which is necessary to get admission to a Canadian college. With the grace of god, he got a 7 Band score and got his visa. Now he living in Canada for the last 5 years and got permanent residency there and doing a job in a good company. I always feel happy for him as my advice changes his life positively.
