Rules at school are important to make the children disciplined and focused. I had various kinds of rules in my school. Here, I would like to talk about an essential rule of my school. It was related to speaking English.
This rule was enforced by our principal when I was in 10th grade. As it was an English medium school, so it was made compulsory to have talks in English. Firstly, everyone faced difficulties in communicating as before that we used to talk in Punjabi with our all teachers, but we became perfect by the time.

There was a fine of Rs 50 for each student on speaking Punjabi and Hindi. Interesting, we could speak in our mother tongue in Punjabi and Hindi lecture. Our teachers also encouraged us to speak fluently in English. Even now, this rule is followed by students as my nephew told me a few months ago. I think it is fruitful rule for students because nowadays speaking English is extremely important to acquire a job in any multinational company.
Moreover, it is an international language. When students especially in India are not habitual of English during school time, then they always feel shy in future while talking due to lack of confidence. I feel lucky that this rule was available during my time because nowadays I am perfect in English.

Well Rules and regulations are an integral part of human’s everyday life. They are implemented by the higher authority in order to ensure quality of work and smooth running of the any institution. There are certain rules at my workplace that we are supposed to follow. But here I am interested to talk about a rule that is highly important at my workplace is the prohibition of using mobile phones during working hours.
We must adhere to this rule unless there is an emergency. However any person who knowingly violates this rule can face harmful consequences. Initially the violator is warned verbally. On the second attempt, written warning is issued. And if this occurs constantly, they are either fined heavily or fired. Moving ahead in my opinion this rule is of huge significance.
First and foremost reason is that distractions caused by mobile phones increases errors while working and hamper employees’ productivity. Without having mobile people will be fully engaged with their tasks and give their best at work. This will benefit not only the workers but also the company.
Besides, during breaks instead of getting engrossed in their mobile phones they will get to interact with their colleagues. That’s how they will improve their communication skills as well as strengthen their relationships with others. Explaining further I reckon that it’s undoubtedly a crucial rule at my workplace. I always abide by this rule. It assists in lessening interruptions and boosting productivity. Moreover it helped me reduce my screen time as I used to use my smartphone excessively. So this is the rule that is incredibly important in my office.
