Well, I have done a lot of works in a team and most of the time, I had positive experience. Here, today I would like to talk my best experience which I had in upper primary school. It was about making a project on ‘Save water’ as well as giving a speech on it. I vividly remember it happened in 8th class when I participated in an Art competition with my classmates Aman, and Vishal. Honestly speaking, earlier, I had never participated in any project work, but they were experienced in that work. It was a new experience for me, and I was very nervous.
Moreover, we had to complete that project in 6 hours. We planned for some minutes and divided our responsibilities. They began to cut the foam sheets and pasted the colored papers on it. I had to create a logo of ‘save water’ with sparkle pen on the top of foam sheet and paste the prints of people of wasting water. To be honest, I was not able to do it because I didn’t know how to start it. On the other hand, when they saw me in trouble, they came to me and told the way to create logo and pasting prints.

While working on our model, they were inspiring me too especially, Vishal and also both were doing their work very well. Furthermore, Vishal was working too quickly and made it easier for us to work on model. Luckily, we finished our project on time. During that time, we also became good friends, and we are still in touch with each other. Moving ahead, we also had to give speech on ‘Save Water’ together, however it was not a cup of tea for me. To be honest, it was really a daunting task for me because I had never given speech in front of public before that time. Then, Vishal helped me to practice for few minutes so that I can overcome from public speaking fear.
His motivation helped me to give my best in presentation. Interestingly, we were announced first in that competition, and we were awarded by school principal with cash prize and trophy. All in all, I was on cloud nine because I learnt to make project or models and overcame from public speaking fear. I feel it couldn’t be possible to do great in that project without the assistance and inspiration of Vishal. So, this is a person who was great team player and did quite well in a team.

Well in general, performing in a team really offers numerous benefits to us such as teamwork, confidence, communication skills and so on. If I talk about myself. I have partaken in a team many times. But here I would like to talk about the time when my society organized the competition on the Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti and my Friend Kamal gave her 100 percent in this function. I vividly remember this function was held 3 years ago in my locality. There were 10 members in a team.
Duties and responsibilities were divided among all the members. I had to give a dance performance on the person who is called the father of the constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar ji and Kamal had the responsibility of decorating the hall. Actually, at that time, our team member Sunita who handled the stage felt under the weather. So, we all felt blue. Our team leader asked everyone about to take this responsibility.
But everyone denied to take it as it required great communication skills and confidence except the Kamal. She managed the stage very well without any preparation since she had good leadership qualities. Apart from this, she also delivered a speech about this greatest personality. She has in-depth knowledge about all the people who worked well in the ancient time. To be honest, no one can handle the function as she managed. She grasps the attention of all people toward her.
I think that if she also refused to do this duty, this function would be ruined. Therefore, I considered her a great team member who assisted the team when the team was in trouble. Everyone praised our work so much. To cut a long story short, my closest friend Kamal is a person who has good teamwork qualities and performed immensely wonderfully at the function in my society.
