Indeed, nobody wants to be late but sometimes it happens due to some situations occur in our life. The same thing happened to me six months ago when I got late for my appointment with a yoga expert.
At that time, I was suffering from health issues so I booked an appointment with yoga trainer who runs his center at bathinda city. Actually, a friend of mine recommended me to consult that health expert. But on the day of my appointment, one of my friends visit my home after two years.

I got surprised to see him. Although we studied together till 10th class but after that he moved to the city with his family and so, from that time we could not meet. At first, we discussed our studies and also remembered our school time like how we used to study, what kind of games we would play.
As a matter of fact, I was so engrossed with him that I just forgot my appointment. After some time, when I got a call from that yoga center I got shocked that how can I forget that appointment. As my friend also wanted to visit bathinda city so we both went there.
But I was very late and when I visited that center, they told me to wait for 2 hours and I was frustrated that time but I had no other option except waiting. Finally after consulting with him I reached my home about 6 pm. So, that was a time when I got late.

I’m going to talk about an instance from last year when I was significantly late for a wedding event and it is still so recent in my mind, it was a traumatic experience for me.
Although the trip from Bathinda to Chandigarh is far, it typically takes 4-5 hours by car, so I had a general belief of when last I would arrive at the wedding. But last year, it was unquestionably not the case. I eventually took a short pause to rest at a restaurant near Sangrur because I had skipped breakfast.
I have a feeling that when I tried to start my car after resting for around 10-15 minutes, it failed to start. I checked the engine. There is a phrase that goes, “When you don’t want to be late, it always happens when it’s on your mind.” After a short while, I inquired about a nearby auto repair workshop, but when trouble knocks, it never attacks alone, and regrettably, there was no shop.

I was melting outside because it was such a hot day. When someone came to mind at the time who is quite adept at fixing cars, I instantly called his phone and requested him to examine my car and direct me toward a potential method to restart it.
When I followed instructions to examine the dashboard, I discovered that nothing was appearing because one cable was improperly attached. When I plugged the cable into the battery, it started, and I finally breathed a sigh of relief.
To make a long tale short, I was in a terrible mood, and then I got trapped in the traffic, which made it an absolute nightmare. I made every effort to be on time and attend the wedding of my cousin, but I was almost late and showed up after all, the wedding ceremonies had been completed.

Well, according to me almost everyone values time these days. Still, however, sometimes people get late due to some reasons such as traffic congestion, sleeping late at night, family commitments et cetera.
Today, I would like to talk about a scenario when I was late. I remember vividly, this happened to me during my senior secondary examinations which were held by the Punjab school education Board in the third month of this year. I remember, It was a breezy Monday morning and was a comfortable morning for a sleep.
Then suddenly My alarm clock rang but I ignored it. After a while, unknowingly, I drifted into Dreamland. When I woke up, I stared at the alarm clock and could not believe my eyes. I was late for my examination and then I jumped out of bed quickly, brushed my teeth, changed into uniform and tore out of the house.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. On the way to school, I realised that yesterday I was revising for my examination till late night. Thereafter, when I reached school I stopped outside of my classroom. It was so quiet that I could hear a pin drop. I was contemplating whether to go in or not. Then I got to know that the invigilator was Mr. Inder, who was my favourite teacher in school. I pleaded nervously in front of him and asked him to give me a chance.
Fortunately he agreed to allow me to sit for the examination, along with that he notified me that time isn’t sufficient but when Mr, Inder passed me a question paper I realised that all the questions were as easy as pie for me to answer and I handed-in on time. I was very relieved because I finished the paper on time. Although the ending was good, I learned a valuable lesson that day. I tried to be early or on time from that day onwards. Hence, this was the time when I was late.

1 – Are you ever late for anything?
Answer -To be honest, yes, this happened to me many times, sometimes due to family commitments and sometimes owing to some other unavoidable circumstances. But I always try to be on time or early.
2- What excuses do you use when you are late?
Answer – Innumerable excuses are present which one can use but I prefer to tell the truth so I don’t use any type of excuse these days. However, I remember, in my childhood I used to use only 2 excuses when I reached school late, the first excuse was that I woke up late due to late night study and the second excuse was that my bike went out of order.
3- Why do you think some people pay to learn time management?
Answer – Time management has become very important in today’s fast-paced world. Some people pay to take courses on time management so that they can succeed and excel at their work. Some people are not very good at organizing and managing time, so they need to take up managing time, so they need to take up courses on managing time well.
