Sample Answer
Honestly speaking, I firmly believe that promises should be kept because they build trust in relationships. One such memorable time was when I made a promise to my younger brother. I promised him that if he passed his 12th grade with flying colors, I would let him buy an iPhone, which he had been eyeing for a long time. My brother is very ambitious, but he sometimes needed extra motivation to work harder. 50, I decided to use the IPhone as an incentive to encourage him to focus on his studies.
Initially, he seemed hesitant, but as the exams approached, I noticed him putting in a lot of effort. He burned the midnight oil, sacrificed his leisure time, and completely dedicated himself to his studies. On the result day, he excitedly told me that he had passed with flying colors, achieving even better scores than expected.
Keeping my promise, I took him to the nearest Apple store the same day and purchased the latest iPhone for him. Watching the smile on his face made me feel immensely happy and proud of him. Keeping the promise wasn’t difficult for me because I wanted to see him succeed. The effort and dedication he showed to achieve his goal made it worth every penny.
I also felt that this promise strengthened the bond be tween us and motivated him to aim higher in life. To sum up, this experience taught me that sometimes, even a small promise can have a significant impact on someone’s life. It not only encourages them to work harder but also creates unforgettable memories.
