Well, I am fond of travelling and I love to explore numerous places. Also, I am a punctual person and always try to reach on time. However, today I am going to share an instance when I got delayed due to unavoidable circumstances. Last month, I and my family members were travelling to Chandigarh for attending my cousin’s marriage. We were really excited to attend his marriage. We went there by car and started our journey in the early morning.
When we reached near to Ludhiana, there was a heavy fog due to winter season. Therefore, because of bad weather, I was not able to drive the car properly because roads were not visible. Besides this, heavy fog led to traffic congestion too. Then, I drove my car slowly and carefully to avoid any kind of mishappening.
However, just after travelling around 2 kilometers, I had to stop car because of poor visibility in fog. On the other hand, we were worried too because we might miss important marriage ceremonies. But having no option left, we had to stop our travel and stopped at a nearby restaurant. Until that time, we had breakfast because we were hungry since morning. After around 2 hours, the fog got lighter, thus we began our travel again.
Unfortunately, after entering Chandigarh, we found a long queue of vehicles. We reached my cousin’s home in the late evening. We missed the wedding but at night, we attended the reception party. To be honest, I felt down in the dumps because I had many plans for enjoyment on my cousin’s marriage but I couldn’t do it. So that was the time when I got delayed due to bad weather.

Well, travelling plays a crucial role in every individual’s life in order to enjoy and spend relaxed life. As a hodophile person, from my childhood to this cutting edge era, I have travelled to plethora of locations (throughout my life) such as hill station. temples, historical attractions and many more. Although sometimes my experience was not up to the mark, the majority of the time, I was over the moon. However, here I would like to shed some light on a time when I got delayed because of something unexpected.
While walking down my memory lane, I vividly reminisce, it happened last year, when I had summer vacation. Actually, my father planned a family trip to Andaman and Nicobar. We were looking forward to this location due to various reasons. The most prominent one is that: With it’s mesmerizing beaches and stunning islands, andman and nikobar is renowned for its exciting water activities. The second one is that: As, I am an adventurous persons. So, I often do water sports like swimming and river rafting. For andman and Nicobar, I also have a plan to enjoy scuba diving. As this is one of the predominant activity in andman and nikobar.
I have heard ample times that andman and nikobar is a slice of heaven and best place to get rid of Mundane routine. However, to our dismay, our journey was delayed by a few hours due to bad weather. The airline had to reschedule our flight, and we ended up departing later than planned. Despite the delay, I was relieved that the journey was not canceled altogether. When it comes to the question of how I felt about the experience. To be honest, I have nothing to speak ill about this.
Although firstly I felt down in the dumps, while reaching that place I forgotten the all the worries. Even I can say this was for me like killing two birds with one stone. I not only learnt to calm in bad situations but also enjoyed the beauty of andman and nikobar. To cut the long story short, this was the trip where we were delayed due to unforseen conditions.
