An advertisement which I not only dislike but also hate from the bottom of my heart is the fair and lovely cream commercial. It is a cream which claims to make the skin tone fairer and the complexion clear.
It also showcases that by using the cream and individual gets a job, a good match for marriage and it also enhances the confidence levels. The commercial is about endorsement of fair skin. There are two types of creams for men and women and separate advertisements for both.

The cream is very popular in my country and hence I have been watching this add since my childhood. I do not remember when I saw it for the first time but I do remember seeing it on TV. These days I also see it on YouTube.
There are newer versions of it but the concept of fairness and beauty remains the same. I am not in favour of this because it is misleading and meaningless. It is not possible to become fair and change the colour of the skin.
This add gives false promises and creates an inferiority complex in the minds of teenagers who are very conscious about their appearances. The message in these advertisements are also wrong. It portrays that achievements in life and being intelligent have no value and only being fair is important.

Although not all advertising is bad, but I wish to eliminate the particularly offensive ones. In addition, we have the choice to disable adverts, block them, or activate ad filtering. We are continuously swamped with commercials because of the internet, billboards, pop-ups, and other media.
As a result, I frequently see mountains of them. Therefore, I could discuss dozens of advertisements today in response to this question, but the one I’ve chosen to discuss is a commercial for harmful goods like sports drinks and alcoholic beverages, such as Red Bull. Now, let me tell you when I first watched this advertisement.
I’m a little forgetful, so I can’t be sure, but I do recall seeing it pop up three times when I was watching a, comedy show on a YouTube channel. Which, owing to the Red Bull ad, nearly destroyed my mood and lost my interest in watching. I’m not sure where I read that, but I did read about its side effects.

It can increase your heart rate as well as your blood pressure, which is extremely harmful to your body. If I recall correctly, I saw in that advertisement that someone who drinks Red Bull can become superhero. I should have subscribed to YouTube’s ad-free service after seeing the advertisement, but I haven’t decided yet.
As a result, I’m reconsidering my decision to avoid such ads and get an ad-free membership. To be honest, I considered leaving the program, but I remained calm and patient and watched the entire episode with Red Bull advertisements.
