Introduction
Well, taking decisions has become part and parcel of everyone’s life in order to achieve targets. Although I have taken a number of decisions throughout my life, some of them were fruitful while others were sheer waste of time and money.
But here I would like to mention one crucial decision that I made with my cousin’s assistance. It happened last year. The decision was related to selecting the stream after completion of the metric. I had four options to select from. But I had no idea what to choose.

My parents wanted me to take medical or non- medical, while my friends were forcing me to take commerce or arts. I got perplexed. Then I went to my cousin’s place, who is an elder as well as my favourite person. I told her the whole situation.
Then she asked a few questions about my interests, my likes and dislikes, and my desires. After a half-hour discussion, she suggested me to pursue a career in business management by enrolling in the commerce stream.
Then I persuaded my parents to let me join in this course. I’m grateful to my cousin for introducing me to this stream. If I talk about the significance of this decision, I would say it was the decision on which my entire life was dependent.

Answer – Yes, I believe these days teenagers have become more advanced as compared to past times because they are more mature due to technology as well as advancements in the education system. They can make decisions on their own, as they can compare the pros and cons of every situation very well.

Answer – It totally depends on the freedom they have. Some people can make quick decisions because their parents have taught them the correct way to make them. Along with this, they have a clear mind about what they want to do or not. But on the other hand, some people cannot make the decision as they get easily confused due to taking opinions from others and feel pressured due to personal situations.

Answer – Before making a decision, national leaders should consider both the positive and bad consequences on the people, as the government is accountable for the general welfare. They should also consider their long- term possibilities.

Answer – Yes, they have to as life is totally dependent on the decision. Sometimes children have to make decision by their own to perform many activities like what to study, when to play, what to eat, whom to talk, how to react, how to treat with elders, what to play, where to go and many more.

Answer – After graduating, teenagers need to make various decisions, like where to work, how to get a job, how to manage expenses and savings, living arrangements, and family responsibility. They have to make decisions by thinking positively and negatively about every decision.

Answer – I believe that parents can best assist their children in making decisions because they are more familiar with their children’s interests and future plans. Furthermore, children can seek assistance from teachers and trusted adults.

Answer – Yes, without a doubt, advertising influences purchasing decisions since advertisers present products by offering various discounts on many purchases, emphasizing benefits, buy one, get one free, and many other methods.

Answer – As every coin has two sides, it has also both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, it provides information about the products and services, creates awareness. On the other hand, it makes people buy more things that are unwanted.
