Introduction
Well, India is a diverse country, and there are so many states available that have their importance in terms of food culture. I believe that food is a basic necessity to survive in life. However, today I am going to talk about an unusual meal.
The name of that dish is “Roasted eggplant salad”. In my XII examinations, I scored unexpected grades, so my family got extremely happy. So, instead of planning a party at home, my father decided to get together at a restaurant that was newly opened in the heart of my city. After reaching there, we ordered our food.

The servers served the food with roasted eggplant salad that was decorated with dry fruits which I saw for the very first time. The taste was milder and a bit richer. It also takes on a soft, creamy texture. It contains lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Normally, I hate to eat eggplant but I just loved it. My mother also told me about its benefits. Eggplant salad enriches with vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants. It may also reduce the risk of heart disease. It was an extraordinary dish for me because I had never tasted that before.
I must that about the restaurant/waiter who served me this amazing and delicious dish. After coming back home, I also searched on google for the recipes of that particular cuisine.

Introduction
Being a foodie, I love eating different kind of foods.
But six months ago, I enjoyed an unusual meal at my friend’s home. As a matter of fact, at that time, I visited my friend’s house on the occasion of his birthday. When I was having dinner with my friend, suddenly one food item really grabbed my attention. Actually I saw it first time there and even I did not know the name of it. When I asked my friend regarding that strange meal, he told me that it is ‘dhokla’.
Basically it is a Gujarati dish. He further told me that it has been made by his mother. Honesty speaking, when I tasted it, it was just out of this world. I had never eaten this kind of delicious dish before. After that, I met his mother and praised her culinary skills
In fact, I also learnt the recipe of dhokla. She told me that it is basically a steamed cake which is made from gram flour. We can add some ingredients like salt, turmeric powder and sugar according to our taste. It was an unusual dish for me as I ate it first time and we usually make Punjabi dishes at home.
In addition to this, I got so fascinated by it when I returned my home I told to my mother about my unusual meal and also I tried to prepare it with the help of my mother. I also watch videos on YouTube related to cooking as now I have developed my interest in it.

Introduction
Well to be honest I usually eat home cooked food and the food I was eating in my childhood I am having approximately the same these days too. Today, however, I would like to talk about a time when I had an unusual meal.
I remember vividly exactly 4 months ago I visited my maternal home when it was my cousin’s birthday. During my childhood I spent approximately three years at my maternal home. That’s why that cousin of mine named Inder is Really very close to me. On his birthday he didn’t throw a grand party, instead he just had a small get-together. So at that time We cut cake and danced for some time to different songs.
After dancing, my maternal aunt served various delicious delicacies To all of us which were prepared by her. To be honest, she loves cooking and she loves to experiment with food. So on the day out of all those finger licking dishes there was a dish which was completely new to me because in my entire life I have never seen or heard about that food item.

I was trying to figure out what was that and what kind of Ingredients were used in the preparation of that dish. After thinking and analysing a lot I failed to identify what that was and what was that made of. As on that day there were some other Relatives also present. That’s why I was feeling reluctant to ask my maternal aunt or my cousin about cuisine with my cousin. At first I just took a small bite of that because I was thinking that food would not taste good but after having a bite I found out that unique food item was very delicious and I ended up eating all of that.
Thereafter we all family members returned home at night and after returning I messaged my cousin to ask about that dish so he told me about all the ingredients that his mother uses to prepare that food item and then I got to know about that unique meal. Frankly speaking next weekend I am visiting my maternal home again because I am missing my cousin and missing that finger licking dish too, so I would request my aunt to prepare that again for me and I would love to have that. Hence, this was the time when I had an unusual meal.

Answer-Yes obviously having dinner at home is really very good idea because home cooked food is really very delicious and full of nutrients which are necessary for our body to function properly. These days many youngsters think that eating fast food is cool and classy but according to me they need to do some research about fast food and home cooked food.
Question 2 – What do you think are the benefits of having dinner with family?
Answer– Having dinner at home has a lot of advantages because by doing this we can spend more and more time with our family members and on a dinner table when family members share their views and thoughts to each other, even their problems, then it helps to strengthen their bonding. Indirectly it deter children to indulge into bad companies ea into bad companies e because when parents talk regularly to their kids then Their children do not feel lonely which is the main reason of indulging into bad companies or getting addicted to drugs.
Question 3-Do young people like to spend time with their family or friends?
Answer– well in my opinion, youth of today give priority to their friends over family because they think that their parents Are old-fashioned and they do not understand them just because they are not well versed with technology. I guess the main reason for this is that parents love unconditionally to their children and parents are permanent in their life and whatever mistake their kids make parents just ignore that and don’t break up with their offsprings. Consequently, they think if they do not give much time to their friends then they will lose them. So just because of this mentality young people prefer spending time with their peers, I suppose.
